HALLOWEEN DIY DECORATIONS

Are you looking to spruce up your house, inside and outside, but can’t afford to spend much money on decorations? Luckily for you, fall and Halloween decorations don’t have to cost much if you’re creative! There are so many ways you can take leftovers from previous projects you’ve done or things lying around the house and make good use out of them for super cute decorations around your house.

Look at this super cute jack o’lantern with mums sprouting out of the top. This is a super cute decoration that can be done easily by going to a local dollar store and buying the trick or treat baskets and planting your own mums or buying some locally at a farm, pumpkin patch, grocery store, or anywhere else that sells mums!

Another cheap but cute little project! Take any bottle that you have laying around your house, could be filled or empty, and buy little googly eyes. Those can also be purchased at a local dollar store and usually come in many different shapes and sizes. This would be a good DIY to make when you’re having friends over, and confuse them when you go to drink out of it!

Fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas? Jack Skellington is super popular around this time of the year into the end of the year, it’s a classic! You can find this specific light again, at a dollar store and you can take a permanent black marker and draw his face on the light yourself! You can buy a couple and make him have multiple facial expressions!

This DIY is easy for everybody to do since it includes everyday necessities. Do not throw away all of your toilet paper or napkins to get to the roll (those things were once scarce because of covid!), instead just wait until it goes empty. You might be able to make a couple of these little cute rolls out of one napkin roll since they’re longer.

This is the perfect DIY if you have pool noodles from owning a pool! Most noodles get gross over the winter, so what better way to make use out of them before tossing! Don’t worry, you can still find these at a dollar store if you don’t own a pool.

Such a cute decoration that can be placed inside or outside! Easy to do, and can be substituted with other materials to make this project work. All you need is some paint and patience to make this cute halloween craft!

Have left over materials from other projects you’ve done? These creepy cool hands can be made out of almost any materials. Wood, cardboard, plastic. If you use wood or cardboard, remember to weather-proof it!

This is so adorable!! This one can be done with fresh sunflowers or fake ones, but just remember the real ones can’t be reused, so fake is probably the best bet! You can find the skulls and fake flowers at a dollar store, and can use hot glue to glue the faces into the center! Perfect for those who love skulls and sunflowers, and can even be used year round.

Halloween is one of the best times of the year, and decorating your house with spooky decorations can make the spooky spirit even better. Most things can be found at your local dollar store, and if not there are always alternatives to materials. Get creative and stay spooky!!!

WHAT DO YOU DO IF YOU RUN OUT OF TOILET PAPER IN A PUBLIC RESTROOM?

What do you do if you run out of toilet paper in a public restroom?

It’s not your day. Nothing seems to go right. Your boss is on your butt about God knows what. You couldn’t get any sleep last night, because your spouse’s snoring is so bad that you’re considering committing murder, something simple not too messy. So, you decide to run to Dunkin Donuts, because coffee just makes everything better, after catching your breath you ask the nice lady for a large coffee. She looks at you, she can tell this isn’t your day.

“Sir, we are making a fresh batch as we speak. Unfortunately, two of our machines are down”.

“Oh no, how could this happen? How does Dunkin Donuts actually run out of coffee?”

As I originally said, it’s not your day. You go on to work and get nothing done because you can’t function correctly. As you’re trying to wrap up your day you run into the bathroom and do your duty. You are in such a rush that you aren’t paying attention. Disastrously, there isn’t any toilet paper. Ouch! You start to panic.

What are you supposed to do? Look around, what would Macgyver do?

1. Neighbor- if there’s someone in the stall next to you, ask them to spare some toilet paper. If there’s anybody in the bathroom, hopefully washing their hands, asked them to grab you a roll from the other stall.

2. Empty Bathroom- if the restroom is empty, get up, and hurry over to the next stall before someone sees you with your pants down.

3. Phone a Friend- if you’re at a work/restaurant/bar, more than likely you’re with someone. Use your life line, they might give you crap about it, but who cares. You need that toilet paper.

4. Call the Establishment- If you’re at work, someone must be around to help. If you’re out at a restaurant, call the host and tell them what’s going on. They will come save the day. They might even feel bad for you and offer you a beer on the house.

5. Purse/Wallet- look inside your purse or wallet for napkins, tissues, receipts, business cards, if you’re desperate use some singles.

6. Socks- use one sock to wipe and the other one to wrap and toss away. Don’t you dare flush it.

7. Underwear- would you rather have underwear on or a clean bum?

8. Scarf/Gloves/Hat- this is a hit or miss. Depending on weather, if you’re wearing any of it.

9. Extra Shirt- depending on the season, you might have an extra shirt on. Cut your losses and use it.

10. Toilet Paper Cardboard- this will hurt, but it seems like you have no other option. I don’t even think this will work, but you’re obviously somewhere were you’re not wearing socks, underwear, or have an extra shirt. For the first time in your life, you’re using the bathroom without your phone. You don’t have any friends and nothing is going your way.

If you’re a guest at someone’s house, please just swallow your pride and ask for toilet paper. If they don’t have any, ask for newspaper. No matter what, your day can’t get any worse.

Water is the number one natural resource in the world. We use it in our daily lives. We drink it, cook with it, bathe with it, and use it in our everyday function. We can’t live without water. Americans are fortunate enough to have potable water in our homes. The water purification plants do everything possible to bring clean water to our homes. They add chlorine to try to clean it up, but as much as they try to clean it, they could only do so much. Tap water is full of chlorine, lead, bacteria, hormones, and drug-by-products.The average person shouldn’t be consuming tap water without a filter.

American families have grown accustomed to drinking bottled water at home. It’s healthier, cleaner, taste better and not full of chemicals, which is the reason why nobody wants to drink tap water. But bottled water ends up costing a fortune and is harmful to the environment. Plastic bottles are polluting our planet. We have recycling centers all over, but unfortunately, not everyone recycles. Plastic bottles, end up every where. Most plastic bottles take 450 years to decompose. And not all plastic bottles are recyclable. Which makes you think!

Clean purified water at your convenience should be something to look into. Water purification systems will save your health, the environment, and of course money in the long run. Have A Plumber Do Your Home Inspection

When purchasing a home, we are excited about finally owning our own house/townhouse/condo. A significant amount of people overlook the must do inspections. They are too busy celebrating the approval for their mortgage. Well, you need to plan ahead. You have to make sure your new home doesn’t cost you thousands down the line.

After months of looking for your perfect house and having your bid accepted, you need to have professionals inspect your plumbing. Having a licensed plumber come do an inspection on your house should be a number one priority. They can detect leaks and bad plumbing. Having a leak in your plumbing will cost you a large sum, that you shouldn’t have to pay.

When homes are built, they usually have a couple different companies working on the house. Most of the time, the plumbing will be installed by a few different plumbers. One will do the rough plumbing, another will install the toilets, sinks, and lastly after everything is built in the house, you will have a different plumber/plumbing company come installing the kitchen appliances, washer and dryer. After a few years of wear and tear, your plumbing needs to be checked to make sure everything is functioning correctly. One of the most common leaks come from the connection of the new appliances to the water supply line.

Don’t be a fool, don’t rush into purchasing your new home without having a licensed plumber inspect your future home. Have one of our licensed plumbers inspect your home. It will save you a head ache and lot’s of money in the future. You can also have the plumber explain and show you a few things that you didn’t notice about your plumbing.
