Still, there are ways that you can tell if someone is being honest with you and what they plan on doing during your inspection.
BEFORE HIRING AN INSPECTOR, MAKE SURE TO REQUEST TO EXAMINE THEIR CREDENTIALS.
The inspector’s credentials will tell you if they are qualified to do the job, such as being licensed or certified by an organization like the Association of Certified Home Inspectors (ACHI). You should also ask whether they have insurance coverage for their work, which can be costly if something goes wrong at your home.
